The Steakhouse Experience at The Nauti Lobstah includes Surf & Turf Creekstone Black Angus Porterhouse steak and Maine Lobster

The Best Steaks in Orlando Pair with the Best Seafood for a Premium Steakhouse Experience!

When guests first walk through our doors, they’re often drawn by our reputation as Orlando’s premier destination for authentic New England seafood. And rightfully so! Our Maine lobster, fish & seafood preparations, and Connecticut and New England lobster rolls have earned us numerous accolades, including being named  Critic’s Choice Best Seafood in Orlando by the Orlando Sentinel for two consecutive years, and recognition for our very own Chef Mike Rumplik as “Best Local Chef.”

But here’s a delicious secret we’d love to share: alongside our celebrated seafood offerings is a premium steak program that has been quietly earning rave reviews from steak lovers throughout Central Florida. Under the expert guidance of our classically trained chef, discover an Orlando dining destination where you can enjoy the finest catches from New England alongside some of the most exceptional Black Angus Creekstone Farms steaks you’ll find anywhere in Florida.

For those moments when you’re craving the perfect steak in Orlando, you’ll find our commitment to culinary excellence extends far beyond the ocean’s bounty. The Nauti Lobstah is not only “YOUR Seafood Place,” we want to be your “Steak Place” as well!

The Philosophy Behind Our Dual Excellence in Seafood and Steaks

When Chef Mike Rumplik created the menu for The Nauti Lobstah, his goal was to focus on New England seafood inspired by his Rhode Island roots. However, his wife and co-owner, Cara, who doesn’t eat much seafood, insisted the steaks had to be as incredible as the seafood. Chef Mike made it his mission to deliver incredible steaks. Her favorite steak on the menu is the Filet Mignon topped with gorgonzola butter and homemade hollandaise sauce; she orders it for lunch regularly!

With a lifetime of experience in prestigious kitchens from New England and across the United States, Chef Mike brings a unique perspective to both land and sea preparations. “The techniques I use to achieve the perfect sear on Chilean Sea Bass are remarkably similar to creating an ideal crust on a ribeye,” he explains. “It’s all about respecting the ingredient, and never compromising on quality.”

This philosophy permeates every aspect of our steak preparation, from the careful selection of each cut to the final presentation at your table. This personal commitment to excellence from the ownership team means that every steak we serve meets the same exacting standards that have made us Central Florida’s favorite seafood destination.

Experience Premium Steakhouse Quality in Apopka

At The Nauti Lobstah, we don’t compromise on quality for any dish on our menu. That’s why we proudly serve the highest-quality Creekstone Farms Natural Black Angus steaks, aged 28 days for premium flavor and tenderness, and completely hormone and antibiotic-free. The difference is immediately apparent in every bite. They have built their reputation on producing Premium Black Angus beef that delivers high-quality flavor and consistency, which is why it’s served at the best steakhouses around the country. When you order our steaks, you’re getting the same excellence we bring to every Maine lobster.

How To Choose The Best Steakhouse Cut For You

Having the ultimate steakhouse experience at The Nauti Lobstah starts with selecting the right cut for your preferences. Each cut of steak has distinct characteristics that make it perfect for you. Understanding these cuts helps you make the perfect choice during your visit. Whether you choose the elegant filet mignon, the bold ribeye with crispy onions, the impressive Porterhouse with sautéed mushrooms, or the show-stopping bone-in cowboy ribeye, each represents our unwavering commitment to serving the finest steaks in Orlando.

The 12 oz. Ribeye: A Bold Cut

Beloved by steak enthusiasts for its rich marbling and bold flavor, when you’re craving a steak in Orlando with personality and presence, our 12 oz. Creekstone ribeye delivers in spades. Topped with crispy fried onions that add both texture and flavor, this cut brings a robust, beefy flavor profile that can stand toe-to-toe with even the most indulgent lobster preparations.

Ribeye steaks have a distinctive “meaty” flavor given their high fat content. The ribeye is best cooked by grilling or broiling, as the high heat helps bring out its full flavor. Because of its high fat content, it’s recommended to cook it to no more than medium to avoid overcooking. Our 12 oz. portion is substantial enough to satisfy the heartiest appetite, making it an excellent choice when you want to indulge in the finest steak in Orlando.

What Makes The Ribeye Special?

Cut from the rib section, the ribeye is known for its exceptional marbling. The white streaks of fat throughout the meat melt during cooking, creating incredible flavor and juiciness. This marbling makes it one of the most flavorful cuts available, perfect for those who want a rich and indulgent steak experience in Orlando.

The 24 oz. Porterhouse: A Magnificent Cut

For those who believe bigger is better, our 24 oz. Creekstone Porterhouse represents the ultimate in steak luxury. The porterhouse is essentially the same cut as a T-bone steak, but cut thicker and containing significantly more of the tenderloin filet relative to the loin portion, featuring both the Kansas City Strip and a larger Filet Mignon in one magnificent cut.

The porterhouse is larger and has enough fat to withstand various cooking methods, including smoking and grilling. Its substantial size makes it an ideal centerpiece for celebration dinners, and when paired with our Maine lobster, it creates a surf-and-turf experience that’s both impressive and unforgettable. Chef Mike tops it with sautéed mushrooms that complement the rich, beefy flavor. This is the steak for serious carnivores seeking the ultimate steak in Orlando.

What Makes The Porterhouse Special?

Known as the “king of steaks,” the porterhouse combines two different cuts separated by a “T” shaped bone. The strip steak on one side and the filet mignon on the other, it offers the best of both worlds with different textures and flavors in one cut. This gives you two distinct eating experiences in one steak: the robust, meaty flavor of the strip and the tender, buttery texture of the filet.

The 6 oz. Filet Mignon: An Elegant Cut

For those who prefer an elegant cut famous for its tenderness, our filet mignon provides the ultimate in delicate flavor, buttery texture, and effortless elegance that practically melts in your mouth. Our filet mignon represents the pinnacle of steak perfection. It is much leaner than other cuts, featuring less marbling and less exterior edge fat, which contributes to its delicate, refined texture. We don’t stop at simply grilling this premium cut to perfection. Chef Mike tops it with rich Gorgonzola butter and Hollandaise sauce, both made in-house, creating layers of flavor that transform this classic into something truly extraordinary.

This 6 oz. cut strikes the perfect balance, substantial enough to satisfy without overwhelming your palate when paired with grilled shrimp, snow crab clusters, or our signature 7 oz. cracker-crusted Maine lobster tail. The mild, refined flavor provides the perfect canvas that allows the sweet, briny essence of Maine lobster to truly sing. It’s a pairing that speaks to sophistication without pretension, which is what The Nauti Lobstah is all about. An excellent choice for diners who want to save room for an order of Aunt Peggy’s Wicked Whoopie Pies for dessert.

What Makes The Filet Mignon Special?

Cut from the tenderloin, the filet mignon is the most tender cut of beef available. Its lean profile means it cooks quickly and benefits from careful temperature control to maintain its buttery texture. The filet can dry out if overcooked, but when prepared properly, it delivers an unmatched dining experience. It’s also our co-owner, Cara’s favorite cut, and represents the most refined steak in Orlando!

Elevate Your Steakhouse Experience with Chef Mike's Specialties

Chef Mike loves introducing new specials to the menu, often creating recipes based on guest requests or to celebrate special occasions. When available, you can find these listed on the menu as “Chef Mike’s Latest Features.”

The 24oz. Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye

Chef Mike’s latest feature showcases a magnificent 24 oz. Creekstone Farms premium Black Angus bone-in ribeye. Served with sautéed mushrooms, rich peppercorn demi-glace, and classic Béarnaise sauce, this presentation elevates the already exceptional ribeye. The bone-in preparation adds visual drama while contributing to the steak’s flavor and juiciness during cooking.

Popular at the finest American steakhouses, the bone-in ribeye steak is preferred by guests who appreciate both exceptional flavor and the satisfying experience of a bone-in cut. The bone enhances the flavor and presentation, resulting in a steak that’s as stunning to look at as it is to savor. Truly one of the most impressive steaks in Orlando.

Chef Mike's Herb-Crusted Prime Rib

Chef Mike introduced a new steak offering as a limited-time feature: Herb-crusted prime rib served with traditional New England-style popover. This special showcased Chef Mike’s ability to take classic American preparations and elevate them with New England flair.

The slow-roasting process develops a perfect crust while maintaining ideal tenderness throughout. But what truly made this dish extra special were the accompanying popovers, light, airy pastries made from scratch using an authentic recipe Chef Mike learned in Rhode Island. These popovers start as a simple batter of eggs, milk, flour, and salt. Through the magic of high-heat baking in preheated pans, intense heat causes instant steam creation, puffing the batter to impressive heights. The key lies in never opening the oven door during initial baking, as even a moment’s heat loss can cause collapse! They puff dramatically during baking, creating hollow centers perfect for the housemade honey maple butter or the prime rib’s natural juices.

Chef Mike shared his popover recipe with Alison Walker of Spectrum News 13 just in time for Father’s Day celebrations.

The Tomahawk Experience for Valentine's Day

The Nauti Lobstah went bigger for Valentine’s Day in 2025 by introducing a show-stopping 32 oz. Creekstone Black Angus Tomahawk steak! This impressive cut was so popular that it earned a spot on the latest features menu for several months afterwards. The Tomahawk is essentially a ribeye with the entire rib bone left long, typically 6+ inches, creating a “handle” that resembles a tomahawk axe. This “ribeye on a stick” not only delivers incredible flavor through exceptional marbling but also creates an unforgettable dining experience that’s as Instagram-worthy as it is delicious. Accompanied by sautéed mushrooms, housemade Béarnaise sauce, and demi-glace for the most indulgent steak dinner, definitely the most dramatic steak in Orlando!

Follow The Nauti Lobstah on social media and subscribe to our email newsletter to be the first to know about our upcoming specials and the return of any of the above steak features.

The Science Behind Perfect Steak Selection

  • Marbling Matters: The white streaks of fat (marbling) throughout the meat are crucial for flavor and tenderness. More marbling generally means more flavor and juiciness, which is why the ribeye is so prized. Filet mignon has minimal marbling, relying on its naturally tender muscle structure for its appeal.
  • Location, Location, Location: Where the cut comes from determines its characteristics. Muscles that do less work, like the tenderloin that produces filet mignon, are more tender, while muscles that work more, like those in the chuck or round, develop more flavor but require different cooking methods.
  • Aging Process: Creekstone Farms’ 28-day aging process allows natural enzymes to break down muscle fibers, concentrating flavors and improving tenderness. This aging process is crucial for developing the complex flavors that distinguish premium steaks and set apart the best steaks from ordinary cuts.

How To Order Your Steak For The Perfect Temperature

One of our greatest prides is Chef Mike’s and his culinary team’s ability to cook steaks to the temperature you request. His approach begins with understanding that different cuts respond differently to heat based on their thickness and marbling. Our kitchen team undergoes extensive training in temperature recognition to ensure your steak arrives at the perfect doneness. Whether you prefer your steak rare with a cool red center, medium-rare with a warm red to pink interior, medium with a hot pink center, medium-well for a slightly pink, mostly brown center, or well-done with no trace of pink, The Nauti Lobstah is your place for perfectly cooked steaks in Orlando!

Made From Scratch Side Dishes Complete The Steakhouse Experience

Unlike traditional steakhouses that charge for steaks and side dishes a la carte, at The Nauti Lobstah, all steak entrees include a choice of two homemade classic sides, ensuring exceptional value with every steak.

Classic Homemade Sides Included With Every Steak:

Our cheese grits offer Southern comfort with a creamy, rich texture that complements any steak. The vegetable of the day ensures a fresh, seasonal option showcasing Chef Mike’s creativity. Our legendary Yukon Gold garlic mashed potatoes are creamy, buttery, and infused with just the right amount of garlic. Jasmine rice provides a fragrant, fluffy accompaniment that absorbs the delicious steak juices.

Fresh coleslaw offers a crisp, tangy contrast that cuts through the richness of marbled steaks, while Chef Mike’s homemade potato chips served with signature remoulade sauce provide a unique, comforting take on the classic steakhouse potato. Traditional French Fries offer crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside perfection, and our sweet potato casserole brings Southern hospitality with perfect sweetness and spice balance.

Premium Homemade Sides:

For the ultimate steakhouse dinner, we offer premium sides upgrades at a nominal upcharge that transform a great meal into an unforgettable experience, and at great value! Choose sweet potato fries, house salad of fresh mixed greens, tomato, gorgonzola cheese with housemade balsamic vinaigrette, or our classic Caesar salad with crisp romaine and Parmesan.
For a taste of New England, order a cup of Chef Mike’s famous Clam Chowdah, or rich Lobster Bisque, creating a true surf-and-turf experience from appetizer through main course.

Our creamed spinach is a steakhouse classic prepared with fresh spinach and a rich cream sauce made from scratch. The loaded baked potato, offered as a select special, arrives with real butter, thick sour cream, and cheddar cheese ready to top as you wish. For the ultimate steakhouse indulgence, share our lobster mac and cheese, featuring cavatappi pasta in a rich, five-cheese sauce topped with a generous portion of Maine Lobster meat.

“We’ve gone for dinner on several occasions, always with a group of 6 or more. The owners and staff are the most accommodating and friendly people we’ve ever come across. The food is just fantastic, and none of our group has ever been disappointed in their meals. For seafood, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. One of the group ordered a steak, and it was also top-notch.” – Mickey, Google

“Perfect family restaurant. The kids love the fish and chips, I get my lobster fix, and my husband finally found a ribeye in Orlando that rivals his favorite steakhouse back home.” – Jennifer, Facebook

“The Nauti Lobstah gets five stars for service and lobster roll. I went overboard and ordered the two-foot two-pound lobster roll with coleslaw and fries. I wish I could have eaten all the food, but I filled up and left with a doggie bag. Everything was delicious. If I get back into the Apopka area again, I will definitely be planning to eat at the Nauti Lobstah again.” – Wayne, TripAdvisor
